Welcome to the webpage of  Discurso & Sociedad. This is an online, multidisciplinary journal that focuses on the sociopolitical study of discourse. Discurso & Sociedad was founded by Teun A. Van Dijk in 2007. 

This journal is indexed in SCOPUS, SJR,  QUALIS (A2), Dialnet and CIRC.

Discurso & Sociedad is a common project for researchers in the field of socio-political discourse analysis who publish in Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan and Galician. Its aim is to contribute to the analysis and resolution of social problems.

This journal publishes mainly new and original artticles. Nonetheless, it also publishes reviews of books and articles that have been previpusly published also in other languages.

Discurso & Sociedad publishes four isses per year (in March, June, September and December). If you want to publish your work in our journal, please check the criteria and scope, as well as the instructions for authors. This is an open access peer reviewed journal, which does not charge for publishing.
