Resumen
Este trabajo se aproxima al discurso del cooperante internacional
español con experiencia en Latinoamérica. Como
método utilizamos el concepto de dilemas ideológicos para
analizar entrevistas de cooperantes. Así, se identificaron
situaciones dilemáticas respecto a temas como las causas de la
pobreza o el deber de intervenir. Por un lado, el análisis pone
de relieve la capacidad del cooperante de reflexionar sobre sí
mismo y su actividad, mientras que por otro lado, problematizamos la
dimensión ideológica del discurso en tanto tiende a
despolitizar la pobreza.

Abstract
This paper examines the discourse of Spanish international cooperants
who had experience in Latin America. We use the concept of ideological
dilemmas as a method of analysing interviews with cooperants. This way,
we identified dilemmatic situations related with topics such as the
causes of poverty or the need of intervention. On the one hand, the
analysis highlights the ability of cooperants to doubt themselves and
their actions and on the other hand, we problematize the ideological
dimension of the discourse as it tends to depoliticize poverty.
